Halloweenex, as it would be called if it was a Festool holiday, is upon us and I thought this would be a fun thing to do. Just post a photo of your Festool themed pumpkin and automatically get your choice of a Festool t-shirt or hat. Festool employees will choose a grand prize winner from the entries who will receive a 48" Festool level. So, submit your best Fest-oo-lantern!

PS - Feel free to roll your eyes. It's just for fun people.

Contest Rules

  • Post a photo of your own creation - a Festool themed carved pumpkin in this thread.
  • Send me a PM with the subject of Festool Pumpkin (or something similar) with your full name shipping address, phone number and whether you'd prefer a hat or shirt (with the shirt size).
  • You may submit multiple pumpkins which will increase your odds of winning the grand prize, but limit one hat or shirt per entrant.
  • Contest entries must be posted between Thursday, October 13th 2011 and Sunday, October 30th, 2011.
  • The contest is open to forum members from the United States or Canada who are at least 18 years of age, except where prohibited by law. Members from Quebec, Canada are not eligible to participate.
  • Festool employees, dealers and affiliates, and FOG moderators are not eligible to win (but may choose to participate).
  • Festool reserves the right to use the content from any entries in the SysNotes email newsletter or other marketing materials.

Prizes

  • Every entrant will receive their choice of a Festool t-shirt or hat.
  • One grand prize winner will be selected by Festool employees and will win a 48" Festool Stabila level, a $150 USD value.

Feel free to post any questions you might have.  Best of luck to everyone!

Here's a little inspiration from a friend's Facebook page: a sweet looking VW bus pumpkin.

Fabulous idea!  [thumbs up]

Of course those in other places who have the Carvex can't play.  I guess they would have had an advantage.  [ban]

Unfortunately for me I have a bunch of ideas  [sad]  [crying]

But it is  great contest idea. Should be fun to see the pumpkins.

ROFL, thanks for the laugh Brice. I needed it. I have to admit I didn't see that one coming. Needless to say, as the conductor of this contest, I disqualify your entry.  [tongue]

Brice,

The rules specifically state that the pumpkin must be carved - so maybe you need to resubmit your creation per the guidelines?

Who wants to attempt doing this with a CNC water jet or maybe more traditional carving methods using woodworking tools?

I am using a jig saw, but if I get my cnc machine moved and rebuilt in time I will toss one on there. It would have to be a smaller pumpkin or I would have to rig up a pretty huge rotational 4th axis!

I used my jig saw the last two years.
