I received a recent unsolicited package in the mail which normally sets off the warning bells. This one was a parcel all the way from somewhere in Europe. (It seems to have originated in Germany but made brief stops in several countries including Transylvania.) The package was well wrapped except for a few red splatters of paint. I opened it up and was amazed to find a new T-Loc systainer 3!

My interest was piqued what could it be. There was a letter attached to the systainer... apparently I am now the proud owner of a Ct. Festula. Whoa! A new CT and direct from Europe! I had to open it right away. Let's check out what the inside of the systainer...

Kind of scary. Not at all what I expected. First it was orange not a spot of Festool green anywhere. And for a CT extractor where does the hose go? I reread the documentation and the Ct. (not a full blown CT) relies on two "teeth" to extract what it needs. Here is a closeup of the teeth:

Look to be about the same shade as Sipo wood if you ask me! I never could get the Count Ct. Festula to work. Too bad. It promised to be really good at extraction. As it is, I am wondering if it is better suited to being a working light. When I shut the light off in my shop I couldn't help but notice the unnatural light it gave [eek]
