Another old machine that needs a new home.
This model G100 is one of the last versions of the floor standing machines.
Made for precise cutting of lead type stock this machine has a superb smoothly sliding table that is more rigid and accurate than anything you can buy that is currently manufactured. It does require some modifications to make it suitable for woodworking but there are resources online showing how to go about it.
I read about this machine in a Fine Woodworking article back in ‘82 this article and eventually bought one at auction. But I never did anything with it but clean it.
And compared to Hammond Gliders you might find elsewhere this one very clean and rust free in the original paint.
You’ll never find a better deal on one these wonderful old machines!
