Received some boxes the last few days.  Welcome additions to the herd.    [big grin]  [big grin]  [big grin]

And this little stack makes me so happy I can barely stand it.  This is now my "baseline" stack for any/every job.  Various hand tool items, CXS, drill set and whatever randomness I fit in the Sys Tooblox.    [thumbs up]

Very cool!  Nice set-up.  What is the cart you are using and where did you order the ProTool Box from?

That's the standard Tanos roll cart.  Exact same as the Festool version, but grey instead of black.  I got a very sweet deal on them (I got two!) when a certain site launched last year (year before??!) and had a very generous discount for a while.  I cannot recommend the roll boards highly enough.  Truly back savers, smooth rolling, good caster locks.  Sometimes I use a short stack as a stool.

I got the Sys Toolbox through FOG member:  toolfest.co.uk
Here's the main post (and you can see my usual random-junk bag in reply#5):  http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-sales-dealer-area/uk-sys-toolbox/

With normal (air) shipping, etc it came to about about $90 to Wisconsin.  Not cheap, but also not thaaat much more than a Sys2.  The open tote use, and clicking it to the stack is completely worth the price, IMO.

Could you take a closeup of the clips of the roller board pls. I've got the festool one and the clips look different. The little rubber festool clips aren't great as the roller board has come off a few times.

Hi Roadkilled,
The clips are actually rubber (or some alien future technology!) loops, so to speak.  They're exactly the same as the Festool board's, except are the Tanos light blue color.

I don't often remove the bottom case from my rollboard, but I have noticed that it stays best if you don't stretch the loop, but rather put the Systainer on there, and then slide the loop on, similar to closing a Systainer latch (ie nice and flat and just across the top of the nubs).

If yours have loosened and gotten slack, you can order replacements.  They show up on EKAT for $5.00 (for a set), part #492599.
You can order the Tanos blue ones for $3 (dunno about shipping) here:  http://www.systainerworld.com/Tanos_Fasteners_for_casters_p/202-703.htm

Or maybe just jam a popsicle stick or other shim from the underside to take up some of the slack (haven't tried this, just thought of it).

Nice rolling systainer setup! Wonder if Festool will offer the open top tote systainer?

Hey Peter maybe it could be the next FOG project?

Thanks for that Wood_Junkie, I've zoomed in on your clips and yes they are the same. The board I use is only a few months old so I hope the clips aren't strained already. To any future designers out there, I think you should be looking at a clip like a snow ski to boot kind of thing.

Greg,

Would it surprise you if I said that thought already had crossed my mind?  [big grin]

Remembering a bit of what you have written in the past, I will certainly take that as a compliment.  But, minds need protection, and what better than a FOGcap?

Sorry, it is mere hours to the start.  [oops]
