i am building some cabinets in a garage and was wondering if there are any good suppliers / hardware alternative to blum drawer slides? I will most likely still go with a blum soft close euro hinge but I hate using the side mount soft close slides from accuride for my drawers but the blum slides are way too expensive to use on garage cabinets, is there a cheaper alternative? thank you all in advance for your help

+1,on custom service hardware for more alternatives.

hettich brand seems to work quite nicely.

Thanks for the link on Custom Service Hardware!  They have a lot (not all) of Blum items & I spoke with a gentlemen on the phone to inquire about speed of shipping. I currently use A & H Turf... They have everything Blum, but their speed of processing & shipping isn't super speedy. I'll definitely be ordering from cshardware.com

I am actually going to order those slides that Chris Rosenberger linked to.  I don't know how much of a hurry you're in for feedback.  I'm placing the order tonight and hope to have them early/mid week next week.  I need some slides in my garage under my MFT setup and for $10, I'll be a guinea pig!  Granted, I am purchasing these with complete knowledge that they don't seem to have the same adjustment capabilities as the Blum 562's that I always provide for my clients.  But this is my garage & I'm not trying to go broke buying a bunch of these slides for such a utilitarian location!

that's exactly my point, the garage doesn't need to be decked out but im planning on ordering about 30 sets in about two weeks so if you have a chance to give them a go in the meantime please do share your experience.  thank you for the link Chris, that's big savings over the blums, the adjustment im sure can be tweaked but since its an under mount with 85# capacity im sure it will have a fluid enough motion to suffice my need.

Lucas,

Just to point out.  That slide capacity is STATIC rated?, not dynamic like Blum's rating of 75 lbs. per pair.  Blum's rating includes any weight of attached drawer or slide out tray with items and a person putting moderate pressure on the fully opened drawer or slide out tray.

I took a look at the link Chris provided and they look identical to the ones I've purchased from Hardware Resources.  Bob, theyll be fine for your garage.

I even use these in lower budget jobs where blum just isn't an option due to price.

Update on these slides...just got a call from cshardware this afternoon and was informed these slides will not be available until April 30!  Fortunately they're for myself and not a project. I did order the 12" slides, so maybe you want to make a call and find out whats the dilly for the size you may be interested in!
