So since Paul-Marcel is raving about how much better the controls are on the Domizilla and the pins are back, when can we expect to see a DF500R  [wink] with the same logic on the thickness gauge, front and back stops on the plunge depth, multiple indexing pins and an ergonomic handle to boot?

With the lack of any competing product - don't hold your breath! If I was Festool, my R&D wouldn't be on the Domino line for a while now. That say, it would be interesting to know what area of the workshop will have Festool's focus next.

Don't think it'll be sanding

Drilling? I'd like a drill stand ...

Planing .. Well, a compact thicknesser would be cool - but not likely ... Too "big" a machine for Festool.

The router family could see some attention - maybe a better dovetail jig?

I wouldn't bee surprised to see a beam size planer out of the Protool range

Maybe some mounting plate improvements round the entire CMS range - then they may find their way to NA?
