Has any one tried a WCR 1000 on a Midi DC?

I apologise if this has all ready been covered in a topic.
I just spent hours going through the Search process, and didnt find a direct answer.
I know it says officially its for the bigger CT vacs.
But there are a lot of creative people here in the FOG.
One of whom might have given a Midi a run for its money with a work station on it.

Thanks
Pip

It seems like it overpowers the CT. It might work OK but it doesn't seem right.

I made an account just to join this discussion. Ace Tool online is selling the CT Midi + WCR1000 combo, and according to their salesperson, the two are compatible.

Perhaps like the smaller MIDI is more prone to tipping if the WCR is loaded with top-heavy items. Perhaps FES doesn't want to endorse this usage due to the potential problems = unhappy customers.

I'm tempted to order the WCR just to see how useful it would be --perhaps when lightly loaded, and not at fully extended height, it makes a useful companion to the vac.

Pip,
I have WCR100 mounted to a CT36 but I also have a Midi.  If you'd like pictures or have specific questions send me a personal message.  I'd be happy to connect the WCR to the Midi and test it out, take pictures or whatever y'all need.

The outer wheelbase of the CT26/36 isn't a lot bigger than the CT-mini/midi, but that minor difference could have a big impact on balance. Just because you "can" technically connect the WCR to the midi doesn't mean you should from a practical perspective. Remember also that the wheels on the Midi are smaller and one little bit of crap on the floor could result in a lot of expensive stuff on the floor.

I'd pose the question to Festool themselves before I took the risk. Let them respond (and please share if you do ask).
