Has anybody used the Kapex with the Bosch Gravity Rise?

I purchased the Bosch Gravity rise stand for my DeWalt miter saw and I'd like to upgrade to the Kapex miter saw.  Has anybody used the Kapex with the Bosch Gravity rise stand?  If so, I want to know if there were any difficulities aligning the mounting bolt pattern.

Setup was fairly easy - just follow the instructions included with the gravity rise. The gravity rise mount feet actually adjust just fine. About the only thing that took a while was getting it balanced to ease fold down and setup.

Taz, Thanks for the reply.  I have my old saw mounted to the Bosch Gravity Rise so I guess that the Kapex base bolt holes line up for the Bosch brackets.  As far as balanced to fold the stand with the saw balanced right now, I have to move my DeWalt miter saw at 45 degrees to fold it in place, is that what you were referring to?

Yes, essentially. I've also offset the saw to the right a bit to make it easier to raise into position. One other note: you will have to drill out the mount holes on the Kapex in order to fit the bolts through. I've seen it mentioned somewhere else on this forum, but cannot find the thread right this moment.

I don't know exactly what the Bosch stand's brackets look like, but you should only need to drill the Kapex to use the included bolts. With my Dewalt stand, I got rid of the included bolts and bought allen head stainless steel 6mm bolts at Lowes. Just get a washer big enough for the bottom so it won't pull through the bracket's slots.

The bolts that hold my DeWalt to my Bosch Gravity rise stand are 5/16" does anybody know what the "hole size" is on the Kapex base?  The supplemental manual indicates that the bolts used are 1/4" -20 or M6 metric but, I can't find a hole diameter of the Kapex base mounting hole?

Sorry Jack - I've replied to you in a different thread. If you need me to take some pics of how it fits, I might be able to do it for Tuesday.
