Has there been significant changes to the Capex 120 EB since 2008?

I recall some people reporting that the first batch of Capexes had problems and were subsequently fixed by Festool.

I'm looking at a used Capex from around 2008 and would like to know is it one of the earlier generation or possibly the fixed version.

Is there any easy way of telling them apart? Also was it only US versions that had problems or the EU ones too?

The issue only existed in the US/Canada and was promptly fixed, that was in 2007. There were no changes made to the design. The locking plate for the miter was thousands of an inch too thick and was causing an issue.

The biggest change is that it is now spelt with a K  [big grin]
