I love giving away free stuff. So, why must you make it so hard for me to give you something? Well, you are guaranteed to get some nice swag for an eligible entry in our video contest, which ends on March 15th. Most of you have a smartphone, so take 10 minutes and make a video and upload it to YouTube.

Share your instructional or testimonial style video featuring a Festool power tool for a chance to win one of several great prizes! Everyone with an eligible entry is guaranteed to get some Festool swag.

Some of our previous video contest participants have gone on to partner with us to review tools and create additional videos and content. It's enthusiastic members of the Festool power tool community who are willing to share their expertise and knowledge that we really enjoy working with.

Two randomly selected winners will receive $750 toward any Festool product(s) of their choosing. Festool employees will vote to select their top five favorites from all of the entries, each of whom will receive a Festool C 15 Cordless Drill. Those finalists' videos will be featured at our Festool Connect 2014 event on March 20th where those in attendance will vote for the grand prize winner of $1,000 toward Festool product(s) of their choice.

How do I enter?

To enter, just create your video, post it to YouTube and then visit our website to complete the entry form. You can also review the entry rules on our website. Post multiple videos to increase your odds of winning.

Good luck!

For a previous contest, it was easy to see the entries as they were submitted.  Can you post a list of the entries so far?  Are you planning to post a list after the contest ends?

I will create a playlist and post it publicly once the contest entry period expires.

Bump! Only about a week remains to get your entry in!

Who's walking away with the sweet prizes?

Everyone walks away with some sweet swag!

Shane

Bump! 5 days remaining to get them in fellas! A guaranteed bundle o' swag for everyone who enters, plus random winner for two drills, plus 5 finalists! I'm trying to clear out the warehouse here, so help me out!!!

[scared]

Shane, any idea of how many entries so far?
By looking at last year's playlist it seems there were around 100 entries. Those odds are not too bad.

I am very happy with my swag from the FOG contest, I even bought a SYS storagebox to go with it. I am planning on doing a video about the set... is that a valid entry?

I can't say how many entries there are until the entry period has expired.

What "set" are you doing a video on? The video needs to be a testimonial or an instructional/demonstration-style video.

I was thinking about showing off my Sys-toolbox2 + Sys-storagebox (plus TS55) stack, kinda like a testimonial of I can fit everything I need for a basic cabinet install.

Is there a cap on length?  I recorded my video and it is just shy of 16 minutes.  I have been trying to edit it, but not having much luck, shoulda used my iPad instead of camcorder.

As long as it's a testimonial, then yes. Maybe a testimonial about how it helps with organization.

There's no limit but our preference was about 5 minutes just because people have a short attention span and I have to watch all of these.  [tongue] but longer is fine and not against the entry rules.

grrr, I can't remember if I sent in an entry for this yet...lol

I see you submitted a video two weeks ago.

If anyone else can't remember, just submit it again. The site is smart enough to allow only one entry per YouTube video ID.

per type (instructional or testimonial) as well, I assume

Participants can submit multiple videos to increase their odds of winning. But a single video can only be submitted once as either testimonial or instructional, not both.

Damn I just noticed I didn't set the upload of my vid to HD, any idea how I re-enter the same vid if I upload it in HD?

Just go ahead and submit it and I'll pull the other for you.  [wink]

great minds think alike! That's what i did (an organizing video)and I forced my self today to finally link my three videos together and submit them.

Not sure if you can confirm my entry.  Since you have to watch all these, I was also able to cut it down from 16 minutes to about 6 1/2.  [thumbs up]
