Have you claimed your Festool swag yet? (US/Canada)

If you a going to upload your video via an iPad, some members have reported issues.  I would advise that you don't wait until the last minute because of the potential issues.  Shane asked me to try the other night and my test failed.  The next day I tried again with all the same settings and it worked.

Just be forewarned.

Shane, the rules submit your video no later than March 15th. Does that mean we have until midnight (EST) Saturday to submit?

Full time cabinet/millwork installer, woodworker. I am planning on buying a tool Friday and I am afraid I wont have time to edit and upload until sometime Saturday

You have until the end of the day on the 15th regardless of your time zone. I'm being flexible with that since it wasn't explicitly stated in the rules.  [wink]

Noice!

But I'd still recommend not waiting until the last minute in case you have trouble uploading your video.  [wink]

Was just joking; I don't think I know a college student who starts a project earlier than 5 hours before it's due so I jumped to a conclusion :)

Fair warning... (and remember you can enter multiple videos to increase your odds, there are two random winners)

2 days remaining to get your video in!

I got the beard started.  RATS!  Something else keeps me from entering.  No Video. No not that.

Good luck everyone.  Send them in!

Hey Shane, If I have a review video and show the tool in use would that be instructional or a testimonial? Or is testimonial more of a general brand testimonial? I did a review of the C15 with all of the chucks and showed how to use each of them. I wasn't sure which this would fall under?

Matt,

If you're showing how to use them, I'd go with instructional. But, really it's your choice if you were also giving a testimonial.

Awesome, just sent it in, thanks!

Remember - Today is the day to get your videos uploaded if you haven't!

Go for the SWAG and PRIZES!

Hours remaining to get your video in!

How many depends on where you live. Time is running out. Fair warning.

Thanks to everyone who took their time to participate in our video contest.

Tomorrow, Festool employees will go about the task of watching all of these videos and voting on them to determine our top five finalists. Those finalists' videos will be played at Festool Connect on Thursday where our live audience and those watching our live broadcast from the event will be able to cast their vote for the winner. So, be sure to tune in on Thursday! Our finalists and winners will be announced live at the event.

http://www.festoolusa.com/connect/live

If memory serves, we have over 125 videos totaling more than 8 hours collectively. I will be preparing a playlist of all of the videos and sharing it in the coming days.

Good luck to everyone who participated!

Shane
