What are some of the Festools NAINA that I should look at bringing back?

CMS saw module, jig saw module, belt sander, PDC,  ratchet socket set contero (edge bander) , vacuum pump with accessories, just to name a few

More specifically the TS75 saw module - its excellent! (just noticed that you have a TS55R in which case I would buy a TS75 in the US as well as the module so it can be dedicated it to the CMS).

Do a search,  my brother just went to Germany, he is expected back with all my surprise festool gear next week. If you look at that thread, you will see lots of great answers.  I'm very excited to see what I got.  I gave him no stipulations and alot of deniro.

The localized sites have prices. They are mostly the same for different countries, the differences results of the different VAT rates (sales tax). Mind that most shops will give you a 10% rebate, and a very daring one might go to 15%. And that rebate may be in the shape of an accessory or more than one, sometimes of a different brand, thrown in, because the mothership (Festool) doesn't really like price erosion and will punish shops that cross the line.

Another matter: whenever an expat or visitor buys stuff in the European Union, they are entitled to have the sales tax (VAT) reimbursed. You have to fill out some forms and maybe jump thru some hoops, but that reimbursment at least brings the price of Festools somewhat in the neighborhood of what F charges in the North Americas (you are so lucky over there, apart from the NAINA thing). VAT In my part of Europe is in the 20% range.

Just remember to go to the customs office at the airport before you check in your luggage as they want to see the stuff before you get maybe half of the VAT back.

Here I am in America bitching about 8% sales tax so I end up buying over the interweb and avoid paying the 8%.  [big grin]  Screw the government here in California.  All they do is waste my taxes.  [crying]

Get an oversized Pelican Case to transport.  I did this and I was able to fold in the TS 75 module no problem.  Now I use the Pelican for all sorts of traveling and camping.

Make sure you call ahead and verify that the shop has what you want, in some cases they may have to order what you'll want.  It may also be hard to find a place that has an english speaking employee, again call around and ask if they have someone on staff to help you in advance of showing up.
