On two occasions, Festool USA has told me that Germany is no longer shipping tool inserts to the USA. So, if anyone has an OF2200 In a SYS3 M337, would you mind snapping a pic of the insert? It looks like I will have to make my own and it’s too big to stand vertically unless I go to an M437.

Thanks!

Would it not fit on it's side at an angle same as the larger systainer it comes in?

There's a lot of foam packing around it in the large unit.

I have to say out of all the tools in systainers, the OF2200 is the only one I hate taking out/putting back in. The right handle is at the low point at the rear, with the left handle angled up at the front, and you have to try and be careful with the lead everytime.

Hmmm, maybe it will be better to sit it vertically in an M437. It's just so darn tall!

Just had a look and it's more bulky than I thought, fills the case pretty well. If I was making a case from scratch, I'd be looking at something a little taller so it could stand fully upright as you mentioned, would make if far easier to manage.

Trying to handle the lead while maneuvering the router one handed to position it is a pain. Not real well designed in my view.

Isn't the OF2200 one of the ones that has an accessory set, in its own Systainer?

Yeah, if the routers standing up I think you could probably consolidate that set as well as the router and standard accessories into the one systainer. Would be a tight fit though.
