Yes, most of us try to help in that regard. And we're good at it!

I make it my personal goal to AT LEAST serve as a bad example!

[wink]

Just about everyone on this site has a problem .....soon you will be sneaking out at night to the shop just to play with your festools and systainers have a habit of multiplying like tribbles

Hi Josh.
Just give your Festool dealer your bank account details  [tongue]
You are on the slippery slop of "I need a festool ?".

Welcome to the FOG. You've had your first taste of the green coolade. It is so easy at first to say I've got the tools I need, I don't need anything else, and then some new idea or project pops up. If I just get one more tool and well I also need the accessory systainer and then it will realy be easier if I get, and so it goes. Be very careful when contemplating  a sander, one becomes a stable of sanders before you know it. They work so well with the CT you will wonder why people are willing to live in a dust cloud. You are going to love the tools. When you have any questions log on to FOG post your query and you will have answers from people who are very experienced in wood working and Festools

Man you guys are right....

My local woodcraft is not a participating dealer in the recon sale so I thought I was safe! Well this morning I was at one of our stores selling an old pickup and on the drive home I spotted a festool sign in a window of a small paint shop.  I stopped in and sure enough they are a festool dealer so I asked about the recon sale and they said yeah we are participating in that so I ordered the 564374 c15 kit for 30% off.

Amazing to me that the local woodcraft won't participate and when I asked a counter person they said it was because he doesn't make any money doing it.  They said he won't even let locals post stuff for sale in the store.  She used the word super cheap...

Being in the tire selling business as long as I have I see festool as Michelin,  they are expensive and appeal to a certain customer, the kind that spends money on other stuff and always take care of their car.  My kind of customer...

Yea thats the problem with franchises, some do some dont, its up to the own. The woodcraft near my house in the statse has moved into a bigger building, the owner is a nice guy and has a very close relationship with the festool rep. On a thread here where someone posted photos of their end user class, I saw one of his employees in te photos. Once I get back to the states next year on home leave Ill be stopping by and see him.

I have 2 "go to "dealers and he is one of them.
