Help - Home made mft router table - what fence to use????

Very nice.

I am planning to do exactly as you have done, and to use an Incra fence.  They are shown clamped down to router tables (see the Incra website, and in particular the Ultra Fence that is held in  place with 2 G-cramps):

I'm sure a more elegant fixing, bolting through the 20mm holes, could be achieved!

I'm also planning to make a side attachment to hold a mitre track - any thoughts?

If you take a look at "The Router Workshop" videos (they have more than 20) at woodworkingchannel.com You will see that for many even most router table operations an extremely simple fence 2 clamps and a hammer may be all you need.

I have decided to give their system a try before spending lots of cash that I don't need to.

The great thing is that their fence system is so cheap you can make one yourself in 5 mins. If it is not all singing and dancing enough for you, you can use it to make something you like better or lash out lots of cash.
