The program is called "your credit card statement"...... you don't even have to order it, it comes to you automatically  [wink]

OK.. so now it's getting to the point where this disease is becoming a serious, uncontrollable problem!  [crying]

I need to go back to Germany where I at least had to drive 25 minutes away to see and buy my Festool products. Gave me a chance to "think" about it! [blink]

So... woke up this morning at 0430. Couldn't sleep anymore, so out to the kitchen for the first of about 20 cups of coffee today.  Sat down at the 'puter, and read all the Unread Posts on FOG overnight. Fun!  Then... over to ToolHome to confirm that my Granat Assortments for the 90 and 150 were processing. YES...good! While on the site, I happened to notice that Tom also has a 190 piece Granat assortment for the DTS 400 Delta Orbital Sander. Wow...NICE! Hmmm... OK... ordered! Yay!

Happy. Not even through the first cup of coffee and already have more Festool product inbound. Yay!

WAIDAMINIT!!!  I don't OWN a DTS 400! [eek] Hmmm......

Don't want to upset my drug pusher at Tool Home by cancelling, so off to Amazon where, Saints Be Praised, they have the DTS 400 in stock with Prime shipping...two day delivery for FREE!
Hmmm...OK... Ordered! Coming to the house on Tuesday. Yay!
Well, wait....hmmmm....not Yay!  On the confirmation page on Amazon, they showcase "other" products that you may have an interest in based on your previous purchases. There's the SysCart on the page. Hmmm.... I already have three of them, but I DO have more systainers inbound from new purchases and my NAINA tools coming in from from our move to the USA from Germany. Hmmm.... Well....I can wait. Yup, not buying anymore of them today!! Good for me! [big grin] Hmmmm......except there's a picture of the SysRoll below the SysCarts. Hmmm..... that might come in handy! Yes... I can think of at least a time or two in my lifetime that I "might" could use it. I find my finger moving ever so slowly to the 1-click Order button on the page.... trying desperately to resist, but a noise from outside of my house distracts me (a bird chirped), and when I look back at my computer, the order confirmation page is up again!! How did THAT happen? [scared] Hmmm...Yup....Tuesday delivery as well! Yay!

OMG!  It's not even 0830 in the morning yet, and I've already placed three Festool orders!  Next thing you know, I'll be ordering while I sleepwalk.  I wonder if there's an inpatient facility somewhere that deals with this kind of addiction. I desperately need a rehabilitation program....BADLY!

Cheers,

Frank
Okay, I totally lost it over the buying the abrasive assortment before realizing you didn't own the sander that the paper fits.... [jawdrop] [jawdrop] [jawdrop] [jawdrop]

Dropped another $300+ plus at my dealer today. Dealers, pushers, they just keep you coming back for more, more, more. At least I don't have to stand on a corner and sing 'waitin' for my man'. And the artist for that song IS?  [cool]

Lou Reed, of course.

All dealers should know that...

Tom

The UK dealers are more conversant in this lad's version of the song. Note the GREEN shirt- not a coincidence.
It's a global conspiracy, is all I'm saying.

That is a great rendition of that Lou Reed song by Bowie...

I had never seen that. I have seen David live though.

Tom

How the heck did my thread digress into Lou Reed??? [scared] [big grin]

May I just say that I have resisted further purchases this week, and damn proud of it....though seeing Tom on here has made me "think" about some! [tongue]

Cheers,

Frank

P.S. - When is the Kapex going on 10% sale? [eek]

I have to state, without any equivocation, that it's all Holzhacker's fault.

I rest my case.

To help with this green sickness Frank has contracted, I think we need to put in a group effort to take Franks internet access away, probably need to include all phones!  [big grin]

Nice idea, but it wouldn't help.

You know how them damn junkies are - he'd probably swim to Germany just to get a fix. Plus, don't forget - he can FLY!!!

Nope, I think Frank's a lost cause.

[wink]

Not all is lost, perhaps every dealer in North America could -

[ban]. Frank for three months at least!   [big grin]

Edit. And perhaps Northern Abrasives could do the same for Kev!

It's actually disturbing how many Systainers full of abrasives you can end up with. The RO90 is a shocker particularly.

A very bad idea is to create a spreadsheet with all of the grits down and all of your sanders across. Don't do it !!!

... every empty sell drives a buy impulse [embarassed]

Templates available from Bob [big grin]

Maybe METABO could be Frank's Methadone [blink] [huh]

Good analogy Kev,  where the lesser fix is not as good as the original! (Or so I have been told.)

Trouble is in my case, but very limited compared to some, I am leaving/withdrawing from Metabo to Festool.  [smile]

Well... over the last few days, a Sysroll and DTS400 arrived, then today three different sizes of Granat assortments from Tom at ToolHome.

Later today my CoolTainer arrives. (I've already got the Yuengling Black and Tan beer to load it up with!) [tongue]

Tomorrow, Big Brown Truck with my new Domino 700XL and both Domino assortments for it! (Still need to get Domiplates for both Dominos) [drooling] [thumbs up]

All well and good, except for one little niggling thing....
Couldn't help noticing that Tom...one of the worst of the Festool drug pushers...made sure there was a 2014 U.S. Festool Catalog in one of the assortments! [mad]

Typical of a hard core drug dealer....just tease your addicts with tastes of other drugs they know you can't resist!  ARGHHHHHH!!!!! [crying] "Hmmm.... what's this? Didn't see THIS before... Hmmm"... NO NO NO!! RESIST!! [eek]

Thanks for the assortments Tom. No rush on the missing grits... I can wait. [smile]

Cheers,

Frank
