If you could come by and help me or lend/rent me the jig I would be most grateful.

I can't afford the tool and would like to use it to install mechanical weatherstripping in 2 exterior door as seen here:
https://www.thisoldhouse.com/how-to/how-to-weatherstrip-wood-door

Tom Silva begins using the jig at about 2:40.

I'm in the Lemon Grove area of San Diego and would sure appreciate any help.

Thanks, all!

Sorry, I can't help you here, but what is preventing you from creating this jig yourself from some scrap wood?

I used vice grips to hold a 2 hole drilled wooden fence  on the edge of my 1400.
Take shallow passes and go slow, good  idea to practice on some scraps.

It certainly is a nice jig for repeated (professional) use.
But, couldn’t this be easily made, making it from acrylic, as the original?
Or with a plunge base, with additional clamp/running surface as [member=71840]snuggle[/member] suggests.

Try two edge guides , one on each side.
About half the price of that plexi one.
