Hi all,

I am newbie for about 18 months, bought myself a CMS with a TS 75 for Christmas. Making first test cut today and having trouble squaring the miter guage, I squared it with an 18" Woodpecker speed square and everything look good until I make a cut, the miter guage goes off by about half a degree.

I kept trying and tighten up all visible nuts and screws and … you name it. Until my in law took me away.  I have test without the riving knife  and all possible things I can think of.

Help please

Same problem. Desperate.
The problem is the TS75 bed, which is not necessarily square to the CMS-GE. If you make it square, the sliding table will work.

Is the sliding table flush with CMS table?
Do you know you can adjust the index on the mitre gauge. Might that be off?

If your using the mitre gauge for a saw fence, I found that there is some flex in it. That may account for the half of degree

So when making the cuts you have to control the flex.
