Hi. I looking to buy the festool bhc 18 li 5.2 cordless sds+ hammer drill 18v (5.2ah).  But I can't seem to find any reviews on its power. I have a 2007 24v hammer drill at the moment. I wanna make sure coming down to a 18v will still do the job. Any help is appreciated

It depends what you're going to do with it and what you already have.

The BHC has 1.8j of impact energy. So if you're installing joinery like stairs, windows, etc it will be more than up to the job of drilling smaller holes for anchors, etc. If you're looking to drill 20mm holes through exterior walls then it's probably a bit underpowered.

I fit wardobes for a living. When I fit on top of concrete floors. I just need to drill 7-8mm holes into the floor. I'm coming from a 24v dewault.

I agree. For what you're planning on using it for a bhc18 should be a nice fit. I use it for hanging cabinets etc in masonry and concrete walls - and it's a joy to use. Never struggles and because it is so light weight you can easily hold something in place with one hand and drill with the other. Also,  the shock absorption system makes it effortless to drill holes all day. I got the festool sds drill kit too - nice kit. Mine lives in a systainer with my t18 and they get along really well...

I have the BHC and it's more than capable of what you want and a pleasure to use.
