Help with portable 110v battery power pack

768wH about 70 minutes to charge 800 watt I think 1600 surge

If I run about 36-40 watts worth of leds it Usually lasts about 5 hour first day then 8 hours for 2 more days. If I power up more lamps, I usually have to charge after the second day. But it still has around 30% left.

There are much bigger units available but this is a good compromise in weight and capacity for me.

That looks like a nice unit Ron. Pretty small and light weight, I could see that being used as emergency power for a short electrical outage.

I thought their solar panels were a rather clever design, charging from both sides at the same time.  [cool]

[member=44099]Cheese[/member] that’s a nice graphic for the bi-facial panel. I’ve read about them but everything was vague about how much gain could be achieved.

I moved on from the Milwaukee. Decided to make use of a 18 amp sealed lead acid battery that was sitting around waiting for the day I’d need to fire up my generator. Which I hate to do.

Bought a 100 watt solar panel and a 10 amp charge controller to charge the battery and go with an inverter that was also sitting around to make a rudimentary system to run a 22 watt exhaust fan in the shed. The fan is switched by a thermostat but the small load still outran the solar gain and the battery had to be removed and recharged via ac power. Big part of the failure is that lead acid batteries don’t like to go below 50% so it really is only equivalent to a 9Ah lithium battery.

So I ordered a serious battery. 12.8 volt 100Ah LiFePo4. Might get two weeks before I have to recharge.

Not to stop there I also took Ron’s advice to get an all-in-one unit but went a bit overboard and bought this Anker Solix F2600 set. Not the sweet portable unit Ron has but something that would be helpful around the house if another hurricane makes to my neighborhood again.
