With the records you keep, it shouldn't be to difficult to determine who it was.
How many Toronto dealers ordered 80 + sanders and had them delivered in the last week or so ? Even if it was an indiv. , your local rep. should easily be able to talk his way with dealers into finding out who had such a fantastic customer that ordered 80 Festool sanders.
"We'd like to make them customer of the month/year and have a special prIze for them" - ought to get the ball rolling. As an additional incentive, the dealer who has the winning customer would a spiff.
[member=57769]TylerC[/member] - does, or did Festool have an official position on the Pro5 selling price with regards to dealers that ordered stock, but chose not to take pre-orders ? Would they have be allowed to sell the sander for whatever price they want want to charge under their dealer agreement and ten terms of the promotion ?
My dealings with companies that employ MAP pricing has been that there is a minimum price at which the item can be sold, but the sky's the limit in terms of the maximum that can be charged.
