I am new here so if this question has already been asked please help me find that discussion. I was ripping a thin wedge slice off the edge of a PT 2x and the motor was struggling. But I was determined. I finished the cut. And just to convince myself that I hadn’t damaged the saw I pressed the pair of start buttons again and it sprang to life. Later I tried to use the saw again, and nothing. Not a whisper. I thought the cord had come out of the outlet. Nope.
I realize there is electronic circuitry in there so perhaps that explains the silence. My hope was that maybe there is a reset button somewhere that, when pressed, would magically restore the saw back to life. But searching online I found nothing helpful. If it turns out that I have to send this in, I don’t mind doing it. I love this saw. It has all but put my chopsaw into early retirement.
I look forward to any thoughts, suggestions, advice.
