Hey up folks, first post here....
Have a few Festool machines and on the hike love them I have to say.
Bought a HK85 recently and when I got it the outer box was broken... The saw looked fine. Then on closer inspection I noticed about 1mm of lateral play on the front end, this can be felt between the baseplate and blade / guard section. I spoke to my toolshop and they got it picked up, took a look and sent me a fresh one.
Opened the fresh one... courier had again modified the box.... And the saw had exactly the same amount of play as the last one!!?...
I understand that by design this area has to have a very minute amount of play but 1/1.5mm to the leading edge seems incorrect. I have spoken to my dealer and sent him a video- will wait to hear back - they’ve been very good so far.
Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue?
Thanks
