Am wondering how many End Stops have snapped on the FSK rails of other FOG members?

Took my FSK 450 Rail out of its FESTOOL Bag today (after around 6 months of no use) and found the End Stop had snapped at the pully socket.

Have ordered a replacement - EKAT No 200219 End Stop at $Aust 40.05.
No warranty for accessories! 😱

Only good part of this was the excellent and timely service again provided by my Melbourne Dealer via email.

I've used the heck out of my HKC with 420 rail and other than having to put a little dry lube on it every once in a while it's been spot on.
Had it for  two and a half years or more now and honestly I've not been soft at all, its seen exactly the same kind of use that any other tool has.

Thanks for your reply. Hopefully this 'repair' will be the one and only. My 450, as I implied in previous post, is hardly used whereas the FSK250 has regular use.

What lubricant do you use? I use a silicon based track spray from Selleys.

I usually use silicone based spray as well but have also used PTFE pusbbike chain lube cos I had some in the van.
Worked just as well and it only needed spraying on a rag then a quick wipe anyway.

Interesting, I am also in Aus. Same issue end stop snapped where pulley attaches. $40 for replacement - that stings.
