I won't have an opportunity to play with this for a little while but I just had share that this may be in the same family as the HK55, but it's the godzilla relation.

I need to find an appropriate challenge for it!

Good luck.  We here in the States are eagerly awaiting the 55, which may presage the introduction of the 85 further down the road.

At 2300 watts I doubt we'll ever get a version that runs on 120 volts.
That's over 19 amps for the saw alone. I hate dust...

Does not seem to be a problem with 2200W router.

[member=61125]dalep[/member] can't see me ever convincing myself I need the 132, but it'd be a heck of a talking point !

In the "crazy big" hand tool category I'd probably be more inclined towards a beam planer first [big grin]

As the expensive rails are already in my shop I think I'd get the corded HK 85 if i was doing a lot of heavy rail fencing or framing. The Festool HK saws are lovely bits of engineering genius especielly when used with the FSK rails..

Nice range of blades too for a good spectrum of applications !!
