hkc 55 plus with airstream battery

Does anyone know if the HKC 55 Saw is being discontinued because its not on the festool website and I cannot find one online exceot the kit and the basic ? or the none airstream battery

They put them in their own category called carpentry saws.

well the link to Festool USA only showe 2 packages > Basic which is just the saw nobatteries or charger and the set is with FSK -420 track with batteries and charger .
They used to sell a plus that had the batteries and charger Air stream
Now only thing I seem to find on the internet is non airstream whoch is the old model .  [unsure]

I found them listed at a few online dealers. You can go to the Festool USA website for a list of online dealers or contact one of the dealers who frequents this forum.

Well I talked to Festool Headquarters today and they said they are redoing the battery system with that so they will be bringing back later on this year > so wonder if that is when the price increase comes into play after April ?
I don't know why festool does tell us that they were doing this . Guess trying to get rid of old models and the Basic has no batteries so that's not effecting it and the FSK they must have a lot and need to get rid of the inventory .

What about a model with the saw and the rail - no batteries?
It's nice to get a discount on the rail when it's purchased with saw.

I wonder if they are going to repackage in the new systainer as well.
I'm thinking about picking up the HKC, but it might make sense to wait.
