Hmmm... What would you want as a gift?

The Holidays are upon us here in 2012, so the question begs to be asked:  What Festool(s) do you hope to have under the tree or before the end of the year?

Peter

No Festools on my wish list this year.  But, if they finally do sell the Carvex here next year  [unsure], as promised (again), that will be on my list of tools to acquire in 2013.

Everyone in my family knows I love festool, yet none of them seem to be able to put two and two together...and when I do drop hints (not subtle ones), I get "But that's for work, that's not a good present!"  Oh well, they usually come through with thoughtfull gifts anyway.  But a new C15 would be nice.

Jon

Well, I hope for a Kapex but, unless I win the Festool sweepstakes it isn't likely to happen since that $500 million Powerball didn't work out so well. ;)

Kapex would be grand or a boom arm set for the CT26 would be nice, but I have a feeling my family won't get into toolie gifts since they know I can be a bit picky on my tools be it then computers or wood working tools...

Also a nice scroll saw would be great, but it seems that there are only two quality makes left on the market - Hegner and Excalibur both of which are quite dear.

All I want for Christmas is the TS 75 insert for the CMS... Well, maybe the other inserts also.

Tom

My family knows about my Festool fetish.   I asked for a

Sys lite.  Which won't happen, no biggie.    Maybe I can win one!  Past couple years I have received  empty systainers.

Which is what I always ask for.   We have a limit on gifts for each other

So we can focus more on the nephews /grandkids.  I buy what I want throughout the year,

But the sys lite would be a great surprise!

If I was to make a wish list it would be.....

Crown stops and UG left and right extensions for the Kapex.

Boom arm for ct 26 and work center

And the domino XL.

Eric

Well I asked Santa for  Kapex or a Porsche Boxster. Think it will happen? Well guess what - Santa came early and a new Kapex showed up and tomorrow I am going to go pick up the Porsche. WOW what a good Santa I have [big grin]

I purchased a work center and a Syslite for my wife to give me. All she has to do is wrap them!

I am picking up the hole drilling plate when I get to New York. I bought a 55" LR32 rail last week. I worked out that I have roughly 610 shelf pin holes to make on my current bookcase project and decided to bite the LR32 bullet!

Pair of SysLites cuz I really think they'd be handy and could hopefully retire the ginormous and awkward softboxes in the shop.

If santa is bringing Tom the other CMS plates, drop off two... the CMS would be a lot more tempting with the other plates available.

How thoughtful for you to do your wife's shopping for her.  ;D

Thank goodness you didn't want 2 MFT/3's and wanted them wrapped!

You don't need the crown stops if you have the UG wings. Just swap them side for each. set the back fence (which is now to the front) the proper distance from the saw back fence. This becomes your stop.

A Festool gift, not going to happen.

I keep telling her what a great husband I am...  Maybe I'll send her a link to this thread to show how many people agree with me!
