I was goofing around with some tradeshow fixture parts that I got from my dad. He had them kicking around for the last 25 years and was about to take them and scrap them so I took some and hauled them from Minnesota back to Arizona.
I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them but today I was fooling around with them and realized that they seem to go together in a way that is similar to the festooll MFS template system.
I have never really looked at and certainly have not used the MFS system so I have no clue just how useful these may be. I realize they're not nearly as extensive because they don't have the measurement marks on them and the tracks on the face of them nor the other parts that come with the system.
The ends fit into the track of the adjoining piece. A torx 30 bit tightens them up. Each rail is about 3 feet long.
Anyone out there have any insight as to just how useful these might be and in what kind of situations?
Thanks, Steve
