Thanks, Mike.
I can't imagine you would get all three for $16.
I get my Festool(z) at the Japanese Woodworker in Alameda, CA and they are new to the game.
The catalogs come out (dog-eared) and we have a guess.
The search continues.......

ps This forum seems Windows bound.  I's an Apple guy from day one and see Festool as the Apple of the tool world:  Intuitive, well designed, simple to use, handsome and THEY WORK!  Oh, and they cost more.

OOPS!
Seems I've posted again instead of replying to my own original post.
Who sez you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Buckaroo, you have one of my famous all time quotes as your signature.  :) I was about to ask you exactly what you where referring to when you posted again.  8) Fred

This was original post:

I have three anti-static sizes of vacuum hose.
One, the largest, is short and came with the boom.  It connects the "33" vacuum to whichever hose you are employing on the boom.
Two, The medium size which came with the "33".
Three, the smallest which came with my sander.
My question is (I bet you were wondering if I'd ever get there) how do I attach the medium size hose to the smaller hand tools, like the sander.
Adapters?  What're they called and how to get?
Cheers!

I think you are asking about the Reducing sleeve, antistatic, D 1 7/16, D36 DM-AS, hose/tool or nozzle connector -- Item Number: 487721 @ $16.50.  Unless I am mistaken (I won't even begin...) this is the adapter you will need to use at the tool end of your D36 (mid sized) hose.

I also believe that Festool recommends their smaller D27 hose for their sanders -- and are also used with the suction' turned down 'till the sander 'floats'.  Do you have a need for the D36 hose on your sanders?
