Recently picked up the ETSC 125. The connection between the metal dust port and the 36 to 27 reducing sleeve I use when running it off my 36mm hose is extremely loose, and will come off with moderate pulling force. It's not a connector problem, as it mates just fine with all the 27mm ports of my other tools. Is anyone else having this issue, or is there a newer design for the adapter that fits better with the ETSC port (my unit has the internal ribbing, as in pic below)?

That dustport is intended for the newer bayonet style hose-end that has been present on the hoses for years. Only that adapter doesn't have it..

I have no clue why you would want to use a 36 hose on a sander anyway.

That big hose is adding weight and stiffness, making it cumbersome to a sander. This is made worse by the fact that it is totally unnecessary, for a sander. Stick with the 27mm "tool hose", which is intended for use with smaller volume chip/dust producers, like sanders, Domino, Carvex/Trion, MFK700, etc.
The big hose comes into play with the OFs, Planer, and some say TS, though I don't find it necessary there.

Because -depending on what you are cutting- the D27 hose end is prone to clogging in ports where it goes "in" instead of "over". This has become worse since the bayonet hose end.
