Question :
What are Systainers made of? How many pounds can the handle support?
Answer :
Systainers are made of ABS plastic. The advantage of ABS is that it combines the strength and rigidity of the acrylics with the toughness of rubber. The most amazing mechanical properties of ABS are resistance and toughness. Impact resistance does not fall off rapidly at lower temperatures.
The handle is rated at 200 kg, or 440 lbs. Due to the latches, your actual capacity will be significantly less, but don?t be afraid to pack them and stack them. These rugged cases are designed for demanding tasks.

when i'm mobile, the ct22 with the garage on top has the hose and power cord inside, and then there is a vacuum attachment set,
sandpaper storage, and the rotax on top of it all... you can pick it up, and it doesn't feel like anythings gonna separate,
but it's high enough to be awkward, and if i've gotta go up stairs, just grabbing the whole thing under the edges of
the garage and carrying it is much easier. lifting it over thresholds and single steps by the top handle is ok tho...
most of my frequently used tools are migrating to systainers, so pretty much the vacuum and a systainer dolly
handles what i need to drag into where i'm working.
