Hi,
What a wonderful place this is! I seldom post but read here a lot, very educational and inspirational. Thank you! [smile]
I'm about to place an order to purchase the Kapex, CT36, boom arm and Rotex 90. Gulp! [eek]
I have the Midi already and plan to hook it to the Kapex when it's not used as a mobile sander-vac around the house. I will use the CT36 with boom arm for work around my mft.
Now I'm thinking of the best hose-arrangement? I've read somewhere that many use a shortened version of the 36 mm hose to connect to Kapex. Also many use 36mm for the boom arm but with a detachable "whip end" of 27 mm for increased flexibility.
My question is what do I need to get this to work?
I already have two hoses in 27mm, one of them being the plug-it version.
I assume I need more than 3.5 meter of the 36 mm and then cut it in two pieces. Will 5 meter do or should I get 7 meter?
What aditional connections do I need?
I have searched this great forum and the web, found bits of information but would very much appreciate a more complete and precise answer.
