I have a festool ctl 26 and would like to know what is the maximum or recommended max length of 50mm hose?

Here is a thread where you might find some useful information although it doesn't exactly address your situation.  It is older (prior to the 26 and 36) but their suction is a little bit greater.

You don't need the 50mm hose for either of those, the 36mm would be sufficient. The best solution for the Kapex is a 1.75m length of 36mm hose (buy a 3.5m & 2 extra fittings, make 2 hoses, sell the extra one), but that would be no good for the TS55!!! Works great as a dedicated hose for the Kapex though.

If you want to use the same hose for both, then go for the 3.5m 36mm (unless you have a specific reason to want to go longer?).

sorry i put 50mm by accident, i meant 36mm

i am attaching a kapex 120 and also separately a mix of ts55, domino xl & ts55
