Unless you paid with PayPal what's the problem here?
You have never made a mistake?
Have you ever done business with them?
If someone stumbles do you believe it's your right to stomp on their head?

Jet has 50% off their parallel clamps every Thanksgiving or so.
RobBob said:[member=60452]McNally Family[/member] It was no mistake. You just lost out on a great deal. Amazon has had this sale off and on for years. I bought the same 40" 2-pack three years ago for $49.99 shipped.
SMOKING HOT DEAL on Bessey 24" and 40" Revo clamps on Amazon

Thanks, but I'll pass on your advice. I have been very fortunate in my life and I like to "spread the wealth." If I caused my own doom by passing on the "hot buy" to forum members, then so be it. I thought the purpose of the forums was to share information and help each other out. Anyhow, if the business had honored it's listed price, then there would have been plenty of happy people.
In closing, I will quote you, "I am comfortable with my decision, and that is all that matters."

The.Handyman said:I too greatly appreciate the heads up. If you are following the Amazon Deals sub-forum over at the GarageJournal forum then you know this happens all too much. There are numerous companies who use technology 'bots' to game the Amazon listing system or such. Items are ordered by people due to the low price and then canceled or different items sent. I tends to come in the form of an email saying it was a listing error. This could very well have been a listing error by this company, I am not sure, but I know from reading that forum, even with the many complaints filed, Amazon is doing nothing to prevent these fraudulent listings or companies selling through them.
Post on my friends. A good deal is always worth a chance, especially with Amazon's customer service.

Once again, two different selling sources as well. The item discussed in this thread was not being sold by Amazon, simply thru Amazon by a third party seller, who has confirmed it was a pricing mistake. The deal you participated in, was an item being sold from and by Amazon. Which, if you read the links regarding the deal you took advantage of, describe how Amazon (on items they are selling for themselves), can vary in price day to day, even hour to hour, depending on customer response.
I can understand how it could be confusing for some, to think everything they purchase from Amazon is actually being sold by Amazon on it's own account, which is not the case here. Sears, Amazon, Walmart and other companies , all sell items sourced from third party sellers, intermingled with their own items. In cases like this, they are merely providing a selling platform for someone else, much like Ebay does.
If I was going to give any advice to the OP, who is now feeling so indignant regarding the outcome of this issue, it would be to keep discoveries such as this to themselves, place an order for what they need, and fly under the radar by not announcing to the world (particularly on a woodworking related website), their discovery of a perceived bargain. I'm sure the error was probably discovered by the flood of orders coming in a single day for what would otherwise be a relatively slow selling item.
