Hotel/Motel recommendations Orlando FL

Hi all merry Christmas.

I took the family to Disney last Christmas in Orlando at the Disney Port Orleans resort and we went to Universal , sea world etc too. We are thinking of coming again at some point next year but want to stay near International drive and will be on a tight budget this time  [laughing]. Anyone recommend cheap but nice places to stay in that area or anywhere nearby cheers.

Im going next year, for the 8th time  [big grin] Staying here http://www.starwoodhotels.com/fourpoints/property/overview/index.html?language=en_US&propertyID=1142  There is 3 of us going and its costing £12 each per night.. We booked flights which are going with Virgin for £490 each..

We did enjoy it but I wouldn't stay at Disney next time they rip you off with food etc.

John how did you get it so cheap ? What time of year are you going ?. When we went last Christmas we met up with friends who were staying at the fourpoints , they said it was nice . My wife just looked it up and its $110 per night for us four.

. some of the websites we looked at the prices varied massively. We booked it through Trivago. Late-rooms etc were about £80-£100 a night...
