I've tried the snappy bits from woodcraft and another brand I don't remember and they all end up clogging and I waste so much time unclogging them and trying to get a compressed and stuck spring free.

Anyone had any problems with the Festool version? It looks like there is alot of space to eject the debris so they have a less of a chance to clog and much easier access to poke stuff out if it does.

They aren't really an alternative for the other vix bits, because the centrotec is only available in 5 mm.

(Personally I haven't used a selfcentering drillbit yet, festool or other brand)

Bummer.

I havn't used one that doesn't tend to clog.
