I'd like to extend the Kapex base extension by about two-feet. How is best to attach a board to the Kapex base extension?

I believe theres a slot on the underneath of the skinny slide out part.  you can drill a hole in the board drop a bolt through where the bolt head fits the slot and put a washer and nut on the underside of the board, slide the bolt head in the slot and tighten the nut on the underside joining the board to the aluminum?

You mean like this?

Got the idea from someone on here, can't recall who though.  I used 1/4 aluminum plate, 1/8" aluminum plate (between the 1/4" brackets and the 1/2" ply to bring the wood flush) and some bolts.  Had to countersink the existing holes in the Kapex extension.

Actually not at all what I was thinking...Looks fantastic though!  I thought you were trying to lengthen the UG wings.  LOL  You have created your OWN wings [wink].  Good work.  Very professional looking too.
Did you repurpose Festool crown stops for this?

I looked at my wings today.  There is no slot to use like I described.  Sorry for leading down the wrong road....to uh, whomever this applies to.

Thanks man, not an original idea, but tweaked it to suit my needs.  I did use the crown stop base extensions.  Also made a new crown stop, didn't like the chinsy plastic ones that came with the extensions.  Not sure if this is what the OP was asking about, but hope it helps!
