How can I set up to receive email notifications of replies to my posts?

I posted a question several days ago and haven't heard since.  I checked the boards this morning, and there were 5 replies.  How can I set up my preferences so that I get an email every time someone answers one of my questions?

I see a "notify me of replies below."  I don't think I saw that on my original question.

Go to your profile I think and you can set up to receive email notifications

I tried that, but I don't see a place to exercise that option.  It looks like the only way is to exercise it message by message in the "Attachments and other options" pulldown below.

Click on the "Notify" button at the top right of the thread or board you want to get notifications for.
