How can I use the SF-OF chip guard in OF1400 router?

I have received the edging plate, angle arm and chip deflector from Amazon.  The description in Amazon is that is compatible with OF1010 and OF1400.

Is it? or is only for the OF1010.

I  was looking Brice tutorial for these attachements and I am able to use the edging plate and angle arm, I don't know how to install the chip deflector on my OF1400.

Any help will be appreciated.

There's a very simple answer to your question, the chip guard isn't compatible with OF1400.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

if it is any sort of a consolation, the chip catcher that comes with the OF1400 will work with those accessories. However it does leave you working 'in the dark'....

No, the 30 days is only for tools, not accessories.  However, this is Amazon's error and they are usually good about paying the return shipping.

If you ordered the wrong thing you should be able to exchange it or get your money back, as with all goods.

In the blog Paul is talking about the chip guard from the OF1400 router, Fidel's post refers to a different part.  But this is a nice alternative.
