How Do I find a message I sent to another member???

Try going to my messages, hover over messages (just above date column), click sent items.

Yes you should be able to go to my messages and then on the side find the Sent Messages menu item IFou have set it up in your profile to save your sent PM's.

Go to Profile in the top Menu bar, then select Personal Messaging in the side menu, then find the second selection box from the bottom next to the line about saving sent messages and click that.  Finish by clicking the change profile button at the bottom right.

If you send a message to a member, you need to check the check box right under the text box that says "Save a copy in my outbox" to remember the message. If you do not, the message will not be saved and is gone forever.

There is an option to have this box checked automatically, you need to go into your message settings.

To do this check: My Messages > Preferences > Change Settings > Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default.

From then on, everything you send will be saved in your Outbox.

Kind of odd this is not enabled by default. Maybe Tyler can fix this?

I just went looking and did not find a way to make it default.  My guess is that the software authors left that out to save storage space.

Peter, it does default with me.

I described in my post how to do it.

Alex,  absolutely Members can check the box and make it a default on their account - I have it set for mine.  What I probably should have written was that I checked and there is doesn't appear a way to globally set it that so that it is automatic without a Member doing anything.

Sorry for the wrong impression.
