How do I insert an image in a PM?

Title says it all.  There's no attachment feature as with a forum post, and when you click the image icon, it creates html codes  (mg) (/img) {I used parens rather than square brackets so it will display} is there something I'm supposed to insert between those codes?

You have to paste an image url between those codes. I don't think you can attach an image to your post directly like an email attachment, but you can link to a picture that's hosted somewhere on the net and use its url. The picture is then displayed inline in your pm like with a normal webpage.

As most here have their images stored either on the cloud or hard drives both of which rarely have URL links, perhaps [member=57769]TylerC[/member]  could consider adding the post type image linking to PMs as well when the FOG 'revamp' takes place. I have often wanted to add images to PMs. As they say, a picture is worth a 1000 words.  [big grin]
