How do I post a photo from an iPad?

At the current time I do not believe that you can post an image from an iPad due to iPad operating system.

Some times you just wonder about Apples way of doing things  [unsure]

I went through this issue with Dave's baby's picture recently from the iphone.  Had to go through a whole conversion process over to pc software, however, Dave told me it's easily done with the Apple software on the Macs.  iPhoto I believe?

If you have a picasa account you can use piconhand app in iphone or ipad

I dont know about the iPad, but on the mac, the photo files are kept in the iPhoto library.  To post a picture, I just copy the file from iPhoto to the desktop, and do the normal thing from there.  All you have to do if find the jpg file...

The only way to access the file system is to jailbreak the ipad or iphone. So to access the jpeg = jailbreak

If you dont want to do that then there are several apps to post pictures, twitpic (twiter), mobilephoto (xk$2) or you can email it to flicker.

Pick your choice.

when i was active in lumberjocks.com, the only way to post pictures was to upload them into flickr.com, and from there put them on lumberjocks.

Thanks guys for all your help, in the end I used photobucket as was sugested. I tried picasa and that didn't work for me
I posted this photo from my ipad [attachimg=#]src="http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa404/Meatman3/f3c137ca.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket">
This is my new workshop I will post more photos as I take them

Meatman, I use Tapatalk on my iPhone & iPad. It's not as elegant as the FOG page, but I'm here to read and that's what this app allows me to do. I can also post photos right from my camera roll right through the app!

I think it's only a few bucks...and it's useful for many other forums as well!

Just my $.02

Bob

Does anyone else think this new avatar of Meatman's looks exactly like Meatloaf?

Maybe Meatman will sing something for us?  [cool]

Thanks Ken for the kind words
My wife even calls me Mr Loaf
But the truth is I cant even whistle in tune [cool]
