How does the TI 15 compare to the new TID 18?

I own a TI 15 that works well.  I’m debating whether to buy the new TID 18 when it is released.  Has anyone here used both?  If so, what are the advantages?

I’m in the same situation with a TI15 that works well as an impact driver. I never use it as a drill.

Same here seems to be a little group of us, the TI 15 works really well for me the only temptation for the change is the OCD of having all my battery’s 18 volt.

I own the Ti15 since not too long, and I went out and tried the Ti18 in the store. The Ti18 is smaller, lighter, and stronger, but not notaceably much. Noise level also about the same.

If you have a Ti15 and you're happy with it, why get a new one? Totally unnecessary.

But the 15v platform is dead for Festool, so if you plan on future upgrades to your cordless tools 18v is the only way to go.

Thank you for your helpful input Alex.

This is my problem. And the chuck attachments are awkward with the intermediate device
