One of the little tips or tricks for using the TS-55 saw has been to use the Fast Fix setting to set the depth stop for cutting 3/4" thick material if using the rail to guide the saw.  In responding to another thread I almost typed that tip but then realized that his saw was the TS-75.  I would have hated to type that and then read that a MFT profile was cut.

Thus the question.

I just measured the plunge with the fast fix lock on my TS75 and it appears to be 42 millimetres

Is that measured from the bottom of the base? If place on a rail, what would the depth of cut be? I have one at home and I would measure but I'm at work.
