How Long Will I Be Able to Get CT33 Bags?

I have a CT33 vacuum that I bought in 2008. It works like the day I bought it. I understand that Festool guarantees having replacement parts for discontinued products for 10 years. Does the 10 year "rule" also apply to consumables like vacuum bags? If so, does anyone know when Festool stopped making the CT33?

Basically, I am wondering how long I will be able to get bags for this vacuum and if I should stock up on them while I can still get them.

Thank you,
Just Bill

See if you can find a long life bag. they seem to last for ever combine that with a cyclone and you wont have to sweat it as the cyclone bin collects about 95% or more of the dust. But to answer your question, I dunno. Maybe call festool USA even then they are directed by Germany so their answer change may only be accuarte as long as your on the phone with them

Ditto what Jobsworth said.
I have a CT33 that’s still working like the day that I bought it.
I have a regular “paper” bag in it...
And 2 other regular “paper” bags - Sitting on the shelf - New/unused
I also have a new/unused long life (cloth) bag - Just sitting on the shelf.
I’ll keep ‘em as “backups - But... I wonder/doubt if I’ll EVER use ‘em.

I’ve had a Dust Deputy hooked up to the CT33 for several years -
And I just empty it out when it starts to fill up.
The regular “paper” bag in the CT33 never even begins to fill.
Virtually EVERYTHING goes into the Dust Deputy.[smile]

Thanks for the ideas.

It looks like the long life bag is still available, but wow, that seems pricey even for Festool standards.
I did try out the new Festool cyclone, but I found that it reduced the suction more than I wanted.
I guess I will just buy some extra bags and hope for the best.

These Festool vacs are really amazing. I recently noticed that my CT33 had reduced suction by a small amount. I realized I hadn't checked the bag recently. This is what I found when I opened it up! Hard to believe it was still pulling any air.
