Oh man. I started out a PC guy (notice I didn't say windows). I was actually living in DOS 4.something and running Autocad release 9 for a Arcitecture class I had.
I was taking a writing intensive class and had to finish my essay. I got to our computer lab and asked if they had a word processor on any of the PCs. The lab guy told me "nope, but the Macs do". Having never used a Mac before I decided to give it a try. The lab guy fired up some writing program and I got started. Later when I was ready to save the document I asked him where the command line was to type in my save command. He looked at me strangely and said "just drag the document to the floppy icon". Holy cow really? It's that easy?
That was a long time ago, and I've owned a ton of Macs since then. I liked the product so much I eventually went to work for the company that makes em
