Fairly new TS55 owner.....absolutely love the saw...just curious how often am I suppose to replace the outrigger splinterguard???

I've made dozens of cuts with my TS 55 and haven't had to replace the splinter guard yet.  I'm also not sure how long they last.

I assume that you are talking about the green splinter guard that attaches to the saw itself.  The answer is when you notice more splintering.  I have several set up for specific purposes.

After you use one for the first time, write on the side of it the depth of cut.  The next time you want to make a cut at that same depth, pull out the corresponding one from your systainer and install.  That way you won't have to replace with a new one so often.  It is even easier now that the kerfs have been standardized.

Hope that this helps a little.
