Hi all,

How in the world do I connect my CT26 to non-Festool tools? I’m thinking miter saw, router, jobsite table saw as examples.

Ridgid shop vacs with Rockler flex port was a very do-able solution. I’m a bit stumped on how to make this work. This is my first Festool dust extractor (aka vacuum).

Thanks for the tips!

I use short lengths of hoses/pipes/vac tubes of various diameters. I do have a few of this kind of adapter:https://www.leevalley.com/en-ca/sho...pter-for-dust-collection-systems?item=03J6099). The plumbing section of any hardware store also carries rubber hoses or connectors that may be suitable. There're no tools of any kind in my shop that I can't use the CT15 with.

I can recommend them too. I have an adapter for my Makita compact router and the non-swiveling TS55 fitting.

Fein used to sell a really great stepped adaptor that was flexible rubber much like Festool's ends.  I liked them so much I think I have six or so.  Of course they discontinued them.

I don’t think that’s the one rst was referring to; they were a more flexible rubber than the one you linked, which appears to be a harder plastic.  I too have many of them, the discontinuation was inexplicable.  Not to mention they were around $6 a pop.
YES !!, sadly they worked so well AND were so affordable that if you needed to cut one up, you didn't feel much pain doing the modification, since you could just buy another one.... [sad] [sad]

I have a Fein ones that live on my Makita 3x24 and 4x24 belt sanders.
