I have a Trion 'barrel' jigsaw (PS3000EQ) with a pre-T-Loc systainer, and I'd like to replace the systainer with a T-Loc.

Does anyone know if the inserts, labels, etc., will just transfer over? Or do I need a specific systainer? (& if so, what's the part number & a good shop to buy from--I'm in the southeast United States if that makes a difference)

Thanks

Labels are different. The insert should fit from a Classic to a T-Loc. It may need a bit of trimming but should work out quite well.

I have both. I will give it a try and get back in a bit.

From what I recall, the inserts won't fit without some trimming. You can get the inserts from the Festool ekat in the systainer/storage category, or just shoot Festool support an email saying what you want and they'll actually get you all the parts and pieces together. Don't think you can just buy this in a store.

I checked the old style Trion insert will fit a T-Loc with just a bit of trimming. Cut a couple protruding tabs , corners, and cut a slit in the front center for a rib. Probably five minutes max with a pair of scissors. I have done a couple for other tools.

Just call Festool's parts department and from them you can order everything. The plastic insert, the stickers, the cardboard graphic for the underside of the lid, all of it. I have done it for other Festool tools a couple times.
