Great video i can easily follow what and how you did it  but i didn't understand a word is it easy to add subtittles?

Hi!! Thanks for the comment.. I really don't know if
it's hard to add subtitles.. But i'm gonna look in to that
for sure!! Making one dutch version, and one with english
subtitles is actually a great idea! Thanks for watching!
Please LIKE the video on youtube and subscribe to the channel!

I got one word "Domino".

Great video, love the table saw, what could be safer?

Liked, as others suggested you might want to try doing them in English or add subtitles. That way you will increase the potential audience by 100, and everybody in our small European countries can understand English anyway.
I may have missed it but i think you didn't explain how you got the workpieces you started with, as i think you don't have a jointer or shaper.
For the rest it's very similar to how i do it, only i use the kapex for trimming the butt joints.
For a small number of static windows i would proceed in the same way, but not long ago i made new windows for my shop and still used the old method of lapped joints on the shaper which goes faster when making a certain amount.

Hey Timothy,

Thanks for Liking it, and also for the comment's.. About the video being in Dutch: the thing is, nobody in Holland is doing it in Dutch,
so i think i'm pretty much the first..So for the small Dutch audience it is going to be appreciated..  I'm thinking about adding
subtitles tho.. But it'll takes lot's of time, and time is money.  [embarassed]  The workpieces are from a regular builder's warehouse.
Allready profiled and everything.. I explained it in the beginning of the video [big grin] 00.30 min.

I also tried to do it with the Kapex, but i found trenching with the Kapex not very precise, because of the pressure you perform on the
workpiece, the dept is pretty irregular

I used to pre order all my window frames from a fellow carpenter (also friend), and he made them with a shaper. Very nice, fast and easy,
but the reason I prefer making them with the Domino XL now, is because in my experience, the lapped joint shrink/work alot on the glue joint,
makin it very receptable for water to get inside the joint and loosening/rotting the joint.
With the Domino XL way, i don't have that problem, because there is no long grain in a 90 degree direction glued to eachother, so it can not work in relation to eachother!

also, with the domino XL and pre profiled window frame wood, it's very fast to make a only 1 window, but also when making 100..

just my 2 cent's,  i'm open for more comment's so please do react  [smile]

thanks for watchin&reading!!
just my 2 cent's

[embarassed] my bad, when i watched it i had the speakers disconnected, so i missed the beginning!
thats crazy that you can just buy ready window profiles, never seen that here.

Anyway i love the intro animation, how did you get that done?

I think it's a standard imovie template. Feel free to correct me if im wrong, just guessing.

@timtool: the pre-made profiles ar not that expensive
also.. Rails are about €8,50 per m1 and the stiles are €7,50
For me thats not that expensive because it doesn't cost me
any time to make it myself, (so also no machine wearing costs)
The wood quality is really nice.. Altough you have to pick your own
pieces, some are really dense and heavy, some are lightweight..
A good friend made this video for me on a iMac.
He told me he used final cut pro!

@gpowers: i really didn't know that.. Now i'm thinking
about changing it, because i don't wanna be a copycat!!

Thanks for watching&reading!! Rick
